- A spontaneous or natural liking or sympathy for someone or something.
Today after I took my Biology test, I came around to talking to an ex-military (idek what branch he came from, he said he took a class on a boat so i’m going to guess navy). But as we talked about the test we took, it turned into a conversation about my major, Biology, and what I wanted to do with my major, which was to go to medical school. The advice he told me is something I don’t want to forget.
Find out if you have an affinity for the medicine: go shadow a bunch of doctors and distinguish the good from the bad and learn from them. If you figure out you have an affinity for the medical field, then go for it. Do what you have an affinity for, and if you don’t have an affinity for the designated medical field, then it doesn’t mean you have to give up on the medical field itself.
Do what you have an affinity for.
